Motion Sickness Policy

At Focus Driver Performance, we strive to provide an enjoyable and comfortable experience for all our customers. Motion sickness can occasionally occur during simulator sessions, particularly for individuals sensitive to motion or prone to motion sickness and over the age of 50. To ensure the safety and well-being of our customers, as well as maintain the integrity of our equipment, we have developed the following motion sickness policy:

1. Pre-Session Guidelines:

Customers are encouraged to inform our staff if they have a history of motion sickness or any related medical conditions before the session begins.
We recommend that customers avoid consuming heavy meals or alcohol immediately before their simulator session, as these can exacerbate motion sickness symptoms.
Customers with a history of motion sickness or over the age of 40, are advised to consider taking a motion sickness tablet before the session, although this recommendation does not constitute medical advice.

2. During the Session:

Our staff will provide a brief orientation on simulator controls and movements before the session starts.
Customers are advised to maintain proper posture and to focus on the simulated environment during the session.
If a customer begins to feel unwell or experiences symptoms of motion sickness during the session, they should alert our staff immediately.

3. Response to Motion Sickness:

If a customer experiences motion sickness symptoms during the session, our staff will promptly pause or terminate the simulation to allow the customer to recover.
We will provide assistance and offer water or other amenities to help alleviate symptoms.

4. Post-Session Recommendations:

After the session, customers are encouraged to take their time and rest if needed before resuming other activities.
Our staff will be available to answer any questions or provide further assistance as necessary.

5. Refund Policy for Motion Sickness:

New customers over the age of 50 are advised to book a session of one hour in duration for their first experience.
If a customer books a session longer than one hour and suffers from motion sickness, the first hour is non-refundable, with the additional time over an hour eligible for a full refund.
The first hour of all sessions is non-refundable; however, customers may be eligible for rescheduling or credit transfer to another service offered by Focus Driver Performance.

6. Customer Responsibility:

While we take every precaution to minimize the risk of motion sickness, customers acknowledge that individual susceptibility varies and accept personal responsibility for participating in simulator sessions.
Customers are encouraged to follow the guidelines provided and communicate any concerns or discomfort to our staff promptly.
By participating in our simulator sessions, customers agree to adhere to this motion sickness policy. We appreciate your cooperation and understanding as we strive to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all.
If you have any questions or require further information, please don't hesitate to contact us.
