We are thrilled to announce that Focus Driver Performance is branching out as a dedicated motorsport coaching training provider, Focus Motorsport Education. This division is set to launch Australia’s first-ever motorsport driver coaching Training Program! This innovative course is set to revolutionise the industry by raising the standard of driver coaching and providing unparalleled training opportunities.

Industry Need

Australian Motorsport has been founded on the skills of technicians. The current landscape of our motorsport industry has adopted technology for safety, but primarily performance gains. However, there are no existing qualifications that are available for a range of performance roles in the industry such as Driver Coaching, Race Engineering, Data Analysis. Despite the growing popularity and competition, there has been a noticeable gap in specialised training programs tailored specifically for motorsport performance. Until now, aspiring coaches have had to rely on general coaching principles or overseas qualifications, which do not fully address the unique demands of the motorsport environment. This lack of a dedicated coaching qualification has hindered the development of consistently high standards across the industry. Our new program at Focus fills this critical gap, providing a comprehensive and nationally recognised pathway for individuals passionate about elevating their coaching skills and contributing to the advancement of motorsport in Australia.
