Driver training with the Focus App on Apple Vision Pro at Sydney Motorsport Park

FOCUS DRIVER PERFORMANCE / COGNITIVE TRAINING

TRAIN THE MIND.
SHARPEN THE RESPONSE.

Motorsport demands constant visual attention, rapid decisions and the ability to manage information under pressure. Our cognitive training gives drivers a structured way to work on those skills.

WHY IT MATTERS

THE PERFORMANCE BEHIND THE DECISION.

What drivers notice, remember and respond to can shape what happens next on track.

Using Focus App on Apple Vision Pro, we can assess and train selected cognitive skills in a controlled environment. The work complements driver coaching, on-track preparation and physical training; cognitive test improvements should not be confused with guaranteed improvements in race results.

WHAT WE DEVELOP

FIVE AREAS OF COGNITIVE TRAINING.

The Focus platform combines structured exercises with repeat testing so drivers can see how they perform across different cognitive tasks.

01

Hand–Eye Coordination

Practise the speed and accuracy of visually guided responses.

02

Memory Recall

Challenge working memory by remembering and reproducing changing visual information.

03

Eye Scan Reaction

Practise detecting relevant visual targets while filtering out distractions.

04

Response Inhibition

Work on controlled responses, maintaining sequence and limiting incorrect reactions.

05

Multiple Object Tracking

Challenge the ability to monitor moving targets while attention is divided.

06

Assessment & Progress

Establish a baseline, track Focus Scores and review changes across repeated training and testing sessions.

THE FDP APPROACH

TEST. TRAIN. EVALUATE.

An organised process gives cognitive work direction rather than making it just another reaction game.

01

Establish a baseline

Use an initial evaluation to understand performance across the cognitive exercises.

02

Train deliberately

Complete structured protocols with difficulty matched to performance and a consistent training routine.

03

Monitor the results

Review progress by protocol, including speed, accuracy and overall assessment trends where available.

04

Connect to coaching

Discuss how attention, scanning and response habits might inform simulator practice and wider driver preparation.

TWO PILLARS. ONE PURPOSE.

COGNITIVE WORK IS ONE PART OF THE SYSTEM.

A well-prepared driver combines technical skill with physical readiness, decision-making and psychological preparation. Cognitive training is designed to complement simulator sessions, fitness work and performance psychology — not to replace the demands of real driving.
